Benefit for Tony Coyle

A fundraiser to assist our friend, Tony Coyle, with his medical bills arising from his October 2015 motorcycle accident

On October 25th, our dear friend and long time Hammer Electric Mechanic, Anthony (Tony) Coyle, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. He suffered many traumatic injuries and was initially airlifted to Atlantic City Regional Medical Center. Upon arrival it was determined that he needed more urgent care and was airlifted again to Cooper Medical Center. While in the Critical Care Trauma unit, the extent of his injuries were determined. Tony lost a lot of blood. Multiple lower extremity fractures, a possible head injury, multiple facial fractures, broken ribs, pelvis and several lacerations. He is lucky to be alive! Doctors subsequently put Tony in a medically induced coma to help him heal. After a long week of wait and see, he started to make some progress. He was gradually taken out of the medically induced coma and continued his recovery at Cooper. After his hospital stay he was transferred to a fantastic rehabilitation facility. We are lucky to have Tony back home now, but hewill have a very long road ahead of him and although the support of family and friends has been amazing, he will incur thousands of dollars in medical costs. Any and all financial support will go a long way and help Tony and his family get through this. Thank you.
